Since 2008 we have offered the latest new cranio-facial x-Ray technique. The modern CBCT images (Cone-Beam-CT) can produce a 3D scan providing information on the anatomical situation and enables precise diagnostics for the development of a appropriate treatment plan.
CBCT is developed especially for jaw surgery and orthodontic treatments.
The CT-scan procedure takes about 15 seconds, in which the patient is placed in a chair. This new scan-technique produces significantly less radition than the traditional CBCT scans.
In 2015 we purchased a 3-D tooth-scanner, a Trios from3shape.
Instead of the traditional imprints, we scan the teeth which provides less discomfort for our patients.
Now we have our plaster models in a digital format. These make it possible for us to create virtual tooth alignements and more precise appliances.
